The Hurlbut Nursing Home is seeking a Nurse Manager to join our team of professional caregivers. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of assigned residents.

Flexible Hours Monday-Friday with weekends and off shifts, as needed. We will work with your schedule! Come join our team if you enjoy the fast paced and friendly work environment!

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to residents
• Establish resident treatment plans and care plans
• Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident care
• Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate resident medical records
• provide emotional support to residents and their family members

Qualifications:

• LPN license in good standing
• RN preferred and a plus
• Previous experience in nursing is preferred
• Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations and guidelines
• Dependable and reliable
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
