Colonial Behavioral Health provides opportunities for recovery to individuals and their family members in the areas of mental illness, substance use disorder, and developmental disabilities. Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.We are currently recruiting for a Nurse III within our Medical Department. This position assisting the medical unit in the assessment, planning and treatment of persons served

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provides case monitoring, including assessment of medication compliance, medication side effects, attendance for medication clinic visits, clinical stability and other needs.Manages patient medical records, including electronic documentation.Ongoing management of the clinic’s medication room including, but not limited to, the appropriate storage, handling, distribution and administration of medications.Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This is a Part-Time position that has a flexible work schedule Monday-Friday.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Skills and QualificationsMust have knowledge of serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Ability to assist consumers in problem solving and utilize creative approaches when appropriate.One year of nursing experience with individuals with serious mental illness preferred. Valid driver’s license is required. LPN license required.RN license preferred.DMV record must be submitted with application..
