Description:

• Showplace is a large manufacturer of custom cabinets.
• Every candidate will start in the trim department and will then have the opportunity to move to another department as time goes and then get promoted.
• Candidates will spend the day between four different departments as described below.
• Hours: 7am - 5pm (Monday- Friday)

Responsibilities

• Edge Sanding: orbital sand edge of doors and headers
• Mid Inspect: inspect loose components and repair as needed
• Panel Catch: catch panels off panel sander
• Onbear: hang components onto a paint line
• Hinging: install hinges onto doors
• Trim: measure components, correspond order form with product, install shelves, roll tray tracks, and inner components
• Door Hanger: screw in roll tray tracks, hang doors, install drawers
• Boxing: package finished cabinet into cardboard box
• First Wiper: quickly remove stain from front and back of each component by going with the grain of the wood
• Glazing: remove excess glaze on face of each component, allow glaze to remain in natural areas of the doors
• Seal Sanding: sand with the grain working from the outer edge to the center of component, determine which sand paper to use with each wood or stain type
