We at Notre Dame Mission Volunteers Americorps believe that education is the fundamental tool in the struggle for human dignity, self-esteem and self-determination. In Seattle, members serve local students at various schools in the city. We are looking for dynamic individuals committed to the concept of helping people to help themselves by providing them with support in the areas of education, financial literacy, life skills, job-readiness and youth development. Member Duties : NDMVA Seattle members will have the opportunity to work as tutors and student teachers at their service sites. They will help individuals and small groups of students both in and out of the classroom setting.
