Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for Network Services Specialist located at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. This position supports the Air Force Cyberspace Defense (ACD) weapon system. ACD is designed to prevent, detect, respond to, and provide forensics of intrusions into unclassified and classified networks. This weapon system supports the Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team in fulfilling their responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
EDUCATION: BA/BS
CERTIFICATIONS: None
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 10 years of relevant experience, of which 3 or more must be in DoD; or 15 years in lieu of BA/BS, of which 5 or more years must be in DoD.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Tactical experience with cloud architecture
- Data ingest experience
- Cyber experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise and support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and / or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information, voice, data, and / or video formats.
- Analyze and recommend network requirements.
- Recommend and maintain network architecture and infrastructure.
- Analyze network workload.
- Monitor network capacity and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network problems.
- Recommend network backup and recovery procedures.
- Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software
- Ensure the rigorous application of information security / cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.
