Inventory Specialist

General Job Description:

Weigel Broadcasting has an immediate opening for a Inventory Specialist to add to our expanding Network team. This role has a hybrid work schedule.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Runs the daily inventory reports to optimize revenue for all networks. (Pressure reports, EUR reports, pricing reports, packages for underperforming assets)

Resolves log conflicts to ensure spots are schedule with client specifications in mind

Ensure high-valued spots and important clients are being serviced properly

Ensure all units are allocated, scheduled, distributed and constrained properly

Works closely with inventory managers, traffic managers, traffic log editors and copy

Must be flexible to accommodate last minute business (while still adhering to strict deadlines)

Upholds traffic deadlines to help facilitate proper workflow

Reviews orders before approving into the traffic system as quality control check

Provides backup for daily approvals and tracking of a network’s flighting, allocations, move requests, make-goods, & audience deficiency unit (ADU) allocations; approving or rejecting deals

Executes final review of the log to ensure maximization of revenue, eliminating conflicts and contributing to log beautification prior to finalization and printing

Requirements:

Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for job, if not currently employed by Weigel Broadcasting Co.

Able to multitask, prioritize, work collectively and independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
