About This Opportunity:
InComm Payments is looking for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join their team. We are looking for candidates that are experienced with creating project plans, designing, and implementing solutions. Candidates should be able to evaluate, recommend, and implement strategies for LAN/WAN hardware and software requirements and capabilities related to internal and external customer needs.

The ideal candidate will be an SME who can maintain advanced knowledge in most areas of network hardware/software interconnections and interfaces (such as LAN/WAN equipment and services, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and VPN.

This is a Dallas/Greater Dallas-Fort Worth based remote position. On-site data center visits are required periodically for this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute towards building scalable and extensible network architectures
  • Triage user requests and manage work queue
  • Create project plans, design, and implement solutions.
  • Evaluates, recommends, and implements strategies for LAN/WAN hardware and software requirements
  • Maintains advanced knowledge in switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and VPN
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve difficult network problems
  • Provides escalated support for Associate Network Engineers and act as a senior technical lead
  • Participate in upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or on-call availability as needed
  • Ability to learn new technologies and translate into working processes
  • Effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Ability to provide project leadership in a technical leadership capacity
  • Ability to lead team on technical issues
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
Qualifications:
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in network industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or equivalent industry experience
  • CCNP or CCIE or other industry certifications
  • Experience with network automation load balancers technologies design, implementation and, maintenance. (F5 Big-IP and AVI)
  • Experience with Firewall technologies design, implementation and, maintenance. (Cisco ASA FW, Juniper and Palo Alto)
  • Experience with Router and switch technologies design, implementation and, maintenance. (Cisco and Juniper)
  • Knowledge of Cisco WLAN
  • Experience with and Bluecat DHCP/DNS and Meraki network devices
  • Experience with Service Now and Solar Winds
  • Familiarity in Data Center Network Design including virtualization technologies. (Spine-Leaf)
  • In-depth understanding of BGP and OSPF routing
  • QoS experience a plus.
  • Voice experience a plus.
