Description:
The Network Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the local area network hardware, as well as OS, Software, E-mail, Firewall, Cyber Security and PACS administration. This person will also provide end-user support and troubleshooting for all organizational personnel as well as will work with the IS Director and designated teams on the implementation of new technologies. They will also play a role in coordinating field installations and upgrade initiatives. This would include assisting the IS Director in facilitating field activities such as upgrading systems with the latest versions of software, the rollout of new hardware and field training.

Requirements:
Degree or certification in network administration; and/or adequate work experience in network administration. Minimum 3 years' experience in network administration. Experience in a Healthcare setting preferred. Clinical training helpful but not required. Knowledge of IT systems including, but not limited to: VMware and/or other virtualization technologies; Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems; Cisco IOS and Nexus; Sophos security systems; enterprise backup systems; server hardware technologies; IMS; Juniper Gateway and PF Sense. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. Ability to multi-task and effectively handle numerous issues simultaneously.
