The Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers mission critical innovative software solutions for use by business units throughout the organization.

Primary Objectives

• Develop, test, and maintain business applications built on Microsoft and other technologies.
• Collaborate with business unit management teams and project managers to deliver high-performance applications.
• Design, build, test, and deploy software application solutions.
• Develop and maintain application documentation.
• Deliver on-time and on-budget solutions and adhere to high-quality development principles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and analyze user needs and application software requirements.
• Develop, modify, and test new and existing application programming.
• Design and lead user acceptance testing, reporting, and documentation.
• Evaluate system constraints, cost estimates, and project timelines.
• Create diagrams, flowcharts, models, and documentation for use by users, analysts, engineers, and programmers.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
• Perform system updates.
• Review and monitor error logs and support ticket system for internal and external systems and fix problems as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field

Preferred Licenses and Certifications

• Microsoft certification (MCSD, MCSE) preferred

Required Work Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include related experience, education and training, location, business needs, or market demands.
