Job Description:
Role:
- Provide Installation and Day-to-Day support for Personal computers and Desktop for hardware, software, and network components.
- Support Printer configurations and settings and troubleshooting access issues.
- Provide Executive support for PCs for VIP Users and their Executive Assistances.
- Support Conferencing implementations and issues.
- Track and support On-Boarding and Off-Boarding Users by issuing PC’s and peripherals.
- Collaborate with other IT groups such as Security, Service Desk, enterprise software management teams, and others to implement and maintain solutions to the end-users and resolve any identified issues.
- Provide advanced technical support to a local network or system users, troubleshoots complex user software or hardware problems, and repairs equipment.
- Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies related to EUC.
- Expert knowledge and ability to implement and develop tools to effectively manage the EUC devices and user environments including software delivery, asset management, and OS updates and changes.
- Develop, and maintain a unified end-point configuration standard to ensure hardware and software compatibility
- Manage, create, and maintain documentation and processes with EUC and Service Desk. Responsible for the platform and methodologies of PC Desktop Support including some hands-on problem-solving.
- Manage and maintain a software approval process, approved software library, and the mechanisms to distribute, limit and control software installed on all EUC related devices.
- Monitor and report on the EUC health, identifying issues, ensuring proper patching levels, and resolving identified problems.
- Assist with the development of roadmaps, documentation, and take ownership for various end-user computing solutions (hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Vulnerability/patch management, VDI, etc.).
- Compatibility and QA testing of applications, operating systems, and application packages.
- Administration of end-user computing solutions, including SCCM / MEM, Intune, and various technologies.
Skills:
- System Administrator with a background in Installation of RHEL, Upgrading, Remote Troubleshooting, Performance Analysis, and Monitoring of Windows systems and MAC OS.
- MAC Certification is added advantage.
- Mid- level knowledge on conferencing solutions likes MS Teams, Polycoms and Cisco.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems.
- Administration of end-user computing solutions, including SCCM / MIM, Intune, MDM, and various technologies.
- Mid-level Microsoft Server, virtualization, and network support responsibilities with the delivery of EUC technologies and management tools.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: From $45.00 per hour
