Overview:
BETHESDA, MD (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-Wonderful, down-to-earth parents in the DC area are looking for a FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT or LIVE-IN NANNY to care for their 4.5-year-old girl and 2-year-old baby boy. Schedule is 8 hours/day 5 days per week. Hours are 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. The children are in preschool and daycare. Nanny will be responsible for picking up the children from school with family-provided car and taking care of the children through dinner or helping while children are home on non-school days. Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. While children are in school during the day, light household management activities such as caring for the dogs (they have two small 40-lb terriers-No shedding), meal prep and shopping for the kids, laundry for the kids, etc. The ideal candidate is caring and loving but doesn’t over coddle and instead helps to foster independence. Pay is $30/hour. Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week sick leave and 6 paid federal holidays. If interested in live-in, living accommodations consist of a furnished garage studio apartment with a private entrance, private bath, kitchen, dishwasher and microwave. They also have a pool available for use. Start date is January 2.

Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
