The National Sales Manager manages key national accounts. The National Sales Manager will oversee operational distribution for key retail partners, coordinate marketing efforts, product launches and sales promotions with assigned retail partners to achieve sales and profit objectives. This role will specifically work within our value channels to include but not limited to: Dollar General and Family Dollar.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts with an annual revenue of $30M or greater
  • Define distribution and retail strategy to support commercial development with retail partners
  • Analyze market trends and client needs for the development and performance of sales activities in assigned market
  • Establish sales targets, designing and implementing sales strategies to meet the targets and mapping the accounts to identify new opportunities.
  • Partner in the organization and execution of Funko’s portfolio of client-level campaigns from conception, evaluation, target definition and creative content specification to coordination of all aspects of execution.
  • Briefing and coordination of creative content creation for campaigns and promotional activities with key accounts
  • Actively participate in the sales cycle to bring leadership and strategic support to large deals
  • Forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement
  • Support national events and trade shows

What You’ll Bring
  • Knowledge of collectible/toy/cpg industry and customer trends
  • Out of the box thinker; creative and strategic mindset
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Proven experience in leading and facilitating strategic conversations at C-level
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to details
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly organized and efficient time management skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing or related business field preferred
  • Seven or more years’ experience in a sales or account management role
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
