Position : Azure Applications Developer/Engineer

Location – Allen, TX(Remote Till Covid)

Duration: 6-month contract

Position Summary:

• The developer position is responsible for designing, developing, and configuring software applications in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The candidate must have experience developing in Azure and should be able to deliver business transformational solutions using the Microsoft application development stack and use of microservices. The candidate should demonstrate excellence technically, professionally and in areas related to micro-services within Azure.

Job Requirements:

• Possession of an aptitude for learning - The developer should be comfortable obtaining relevant Microsoft certifications if necessary.
• Demonstrate knowledge of best practices around the development operations capabilities of Visual Studio, VSTS and the Azure cloud
• Demonstrate experience (5+ years) of developing C# applications using Visual Studio
• Must have a working knowledge of the Azure PaaS services in the development and data spaces – Azure App Service, Cloud Service, Event/IoT Hub, SQL, Data Lake, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, etc.
• Demonstrate ability to stay current with Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to successfully work on and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, either independently or within a small team
• Understand enterprise scale systems built on Microsoft technologies and secure coding.

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong knowledge around Azure Cloud environment and Micro-Services
• Proven history of C# development using Visual Studio

Strong knowledge in leveraging Microsoft’s suite of technologies for providing Business Intelligence solutions such as Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services as well as other 3rd party reporting suites, including Power BI
