Job description
Power & Construction Group is adding Heavy Equipment Operators to the team.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment around live utilities
- Manual labor is required, including but not limited to digging with a hand shovel or bar to expose live utilities, heavy lifting, climbing in and out of trenches
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools
- Must be able to demonstrate skills in the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of backhoes, excavators, loaders, and skidsteers
- Must have hands on experience in digging safely around live utilities
- Must have experience working safely in traffic zones
- Have no lifting or physical restrictions
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the public and Clients
- Work outdoors year round in all types of weather
- Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment
