Phoenix Logistics is seeking a highly motivated Multi-Site Operations Manager in Illinois. The manager will oversee two facilities for the same on-site, dedicated customer located in Dwight, IL and Decatur, IL. The Multi-Site Operations Manager will manage two supervisors and over 50 front-line workers.

Multi-Site Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order processing, packing, and returns for both facilities
• Lead, direct, and develop personnel
• Implant a culture of safety first
• Expand business with this customer and others
• Drive process improvement initiatives
• Analyze and report on safety, productivity, and financial performance metrics
• Manage the customer relationship as the main contact for both facilities
• Evaluate P&L drivers and make changes as needed to improve financial margins
• Regularly travel between both facilities for operational oversight

Multi-Site Operations Manager Qualifications:

• Extensive operational experience in the 3rd party warehouse and distribution preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and independent strategic thinking with a proven track record of solid decision-making
• Ability to suggest creative, viable solutions to our customers’ expressed needs. Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
• High level of multi-tasking ability and ability to change directions quickly while still meeting expectations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role directing warehouse and distribution operations
• Familiarity and utilization of WMS for driving productivity and processes
• Experience in data analysis maximizing usage of complicated excel type formulas is a plus
