Summary of Job Descriptions:
The Multi-Concept Brand Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing brand strategy and executing marketing plans for multiple restaurant concepts. This position develops brand stories and marketing initiatives for Hibachi-San, Panda Inn, Uncle Tetsu, Wasabi, and Yakiya. The Multi-Concept Brand Manager conducts guest research to drive consumer insights-based decision making and strategies. This position leads and executes promotions with external creative partners or agencies that are consistent with brand positioning and that drive sales and transactions.


You’ll get a chance to:

  • Develop and optimize brand strategies, programs, and tools to increase guest visits, existing guest frequency, and store level SSS and SST for such concepts as Hibachi-San, Panda Inn, Uncle Tetsu, Wasabi, and Yakiya.
  • Establish annual marketing plans for the multi-concept brands, serving as a key strategic advisor to senior Multi-Concept Operations leadership
  • Lead and execute promotions with external creative partners or agencies that are consistent with brand positioning and that drive sales and transactions.
  • Create, manage, and execute loyalty/rewards structure.
  • Conduct consumer and guest research to define brand blueprints and gauge appeal of all new offerings and promotions and their impact on each concept’s revenues, profitability, and product mix.
  • Provide input on pricing strategies based on consumer research.
  • Perform analysis of the competitive environment to determine how the business benchmarks against the competition locally in product, price, promotion, brand loyalty, etc.
  • Research culinary and marketing trends across a broad spectrum of competitors to identify current and future quick service and casual dining trends.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent field required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum five years of directly applicable marketing experience, preferably in a hospitality/restaurant environment, with increasing managerial experience; experience in an hourly or managerial restaurant position preferred
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training
  • If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
