Department and Team Profile
Corporate and Institutional Solutions (CIS) is a division within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management comprised of Corporate & Digital Solutions, Morgan Stanley @ Work, Virtual Client Solutions, Reinvestment, and Strategic Client Management. The overall goal and vision of CIS is to create a corporate experience and a consistent corporate employee (“participant”) experience engaging clients throughout their financial life journey that will ultimately lead to a furthering and deepening of their Morgan Stanley Wealth Management relationships. Our approach will be highly scalable, leveraging an omni-channel strategy with an emphasis on messaging, onboarding, cross-selling, activation and servicing. Our goal will be to drive growth across all client segments, including the Mass-Affluent, with new digital capabilities. The Strategy Team specifically focuses on developing, coordinating and executing strategic initiatives across the Morgan Stanley at Work business lines. The group works closely with senior leadership to analyze data, develop recommendations, and design comprehensive plans to capture growth opportunities.

Role Profile
As a member of the Morgan Stanley at Work Strategy Team, this individual will be responsible for working on the business’s most critical strategic acquisition and product monetization questions, partnering with teams across the organization such as Analytics & Data, Legal, Risk, Marketing, Product, Reinvestment, and Technology, to drive our growth strategy. This individual will join a team of high performers in identifying and sizing cross sell opportunities, establishing a business development framework, assessing relevant industry trends, modeling key financial scenarios, and developing key recommendations to drive MS@W’s future success and competitive advantage. The role will require a person who is capable of big-picture thinking and can operationalize key initiatives to help rapidly grow our business. Candidates in this role should be able to structure ambiguous problems to provide actionable recommendations, leveraging their strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of strategic initiatives for corporate equity programs and administration, enabling retail engagement.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to develop analytical frameworks which identify and explain key project inflection points
  • Present strategic outcomes and recommendations through concise and effective delivery to organizational leadership
  • Build relationships with partners across Institutional Securities and Wealth Mgmt. to identify opportunities, and channel perspectives to influence strategic decisions.
  • Support a centralized distribution strategy and governance, including opportunity, segmentation & messaging, tactics, measurement, and Key Performance Indicators

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.
  • +3 years of relevant work experience in management consulting, investment banking, big banks within an internal consulting function, or private equity firms
  • Experience in financial services preferred, with exposure to venture capital, corporate equity programs, and Wealth Management a plus
  • Strong communication abilities including experience in developing C-level leadership presentations
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Solid data analysis experience with robust financial modeling skills • Detail and results oriented individual
  • Able to multi-task, adjust to changing deadlines and ambiguity
  • Strong team player and high energy

Salary range for the position: $90,000 - $120,000 /yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
