Job Summary
Full time Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to maintain data processes and systems for aggregating and reporting agency level data including providing recommendations for systems and processes improvements; provide oversight for grant level monitoring indicators; grant application reviews and approvals including aggregating, reporting and analysis of data as requested; gather and analyze data (including through survey, web statistics, interviews, unsolicited feedback, case studies and reports) and ensure the resulting information can be understood and communicated for internal learning as well as external reporting; prepare quarterly Performance Monitoring Indicators for internal agency performance and progress report for both the management team and the board of directors; provided advice to staff and partner organizations on monitoring and evaluation needs, such as the identification of priorities and indicators; the design, of evaluations and learning studies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Development Practice or related field and two years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation.
- Educational or work background must include international development, planning, design and implementation of Monitoring & Evaluation systems.
- Online monitoring and information software and systems
- M&E methods and approaches (quantitative and qualitative)
- Designing and implement M&E activities and indicators and analyzing the data collected
- Cross-cultural communication techniques
- Quantitative reasoning using SAS, SPSS, Stata or JMP and qualitative data analysis using NVIVO or MaxQDA
- Data visualization using Tableau, Infogram or Power BI.
Work Hours and Conditions
- FLSA Status: F/T Exempt
- Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday with flexible start/end time) - Evening and weekend work/meetings as necessary, particularly during peak unit season.
- May require work outside of standard business hours (to include weekends), particularly during peak unit season.
- Sedentary office/computer/keyboarding/meeting work for extended periods of time.
- Travel up to 40%.
- Headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia; telecommuting optional.
