Job Title: VP of Monitoring and Technology

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, Myrtle Beach, SC

Job Type: Full-Time

We are a strong family and employee-owned business based in Phoenix, Arizona, utilizing advanced AI technology in our cameras to ensure the highest level of security and surveillance on job sites. Our solar-powered surveillance units, known as Sentry Units, can be placed anywhere and provide reliable monitoring in even the most remote locations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our technological advancements, ensuring the security and stability of our systems, and optimizing operational efficiency through effective monitoring solutions.

This is an in-office position and the selected candidate will be required to work at our office premises in Phoenix, AZ or Myrtle Beach, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy by providing visionary leadership in identifying and implementing emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance monitoring capabilities and cybersecurity measures.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of monitoring systems to ensure real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure, applications, networks, and data centers.
• Identify potential issues or vulnerabilities and proactively implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight for the development, maintenance, and scalability of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud-based systems. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements to support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of monitoring and technology professionals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Manage and oversee the in-house monitoring team, ensuring that all video review, police dispatching, customer service, maintenance requests, and other duties are handled efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure constant communication with sales, finance, risk, and procurement teams to deliver solutions that align with organizational objectives.
• Communicate with clients through various channels, including text, email, and phone, to ensure that their needs are met and that any issues are resolved promptly

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Progressive experience in monitoring systems, technology infrastructure management, and cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership or executive role. Strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in monitoring and technology.
• Experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Proactive approach to monitoring and risk management
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a diverse team. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others towards a common vision. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with AI technology and video surveillance systems is a plus
