Seneca Nation Group is looking for one or more Military Health Program Managers to join our team supporting our government client(s). A security clearance (Secret or Public Trust) may be required for these positions. Locations may vary from fully remote to within commuting distance to assigned Military Treatment Facilities/Clinics within the contiguous United States.


Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

As part of Seneca Nation Group's support to our government customer:

  • Serve as the lead for contract activities and tasks, including program and project activities, project implementation, and tasks assigned/delegated to individual contributors.
  • Understand and support the client's (service's and/or agency's) mission-oriented business initiatives and programs, stakeholders, EHR deployment/implementation/sustainment plans, and policy/regulatory requirements.
  • Organize, direct, and manage team members and contract support functions for multiple and complex interrelated project tasks; assign, delegate, and monitor task progress to completion; provide status updates, as required.
  • Identify and document short term and long-term risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Keep government customer(s) and other stakeholders apprised of program, project, and task progress, resource and information requirements, estimated completion timelines, and risks/mitigation plans.
  • Understand complex technical and program requirements and develop plans, policies, procedures, resource plans, and schedules to meet requirements; seek and secure government approval for new and modified approaches and technical documentation, as needed.
  • Ensure work products are uniform, consistent, and meet customer and Seneca quality standards.
  • Suggest and/or recommend alternative policies, procedures, and approaches for government consideration and approval, as required.
  • Respond to customer inquiries within a reasonable amount of time (e.g., 2-4 hours).
  • Ensure team members understand requirements and provide them the necessary resources, training, and support to ensure successful task completion and quality performance.
  • Maintain frequent and open communication with government stakeholders (including senior leadership) and ensure questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Lead and/or participate in customer and internal team meetings.
  • Prepare and submit required deliverables, reports, status updates, and other contract documents.

Requirements

  • A security clearance (e.g., Secret or Public Trust) may be required for this/these position(s).
  • A minimum of 7 years of program management experience.
  • Preferred: At least 5 years program management experience with the Department of Defense or other federal agency/organization.
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with DHA, VA, or other federal agency clinical systems, process, and procedures.
  • Experience coordinating significant planning efforts and teams for deployment, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions. Preferred EHR systems: MHS GENESIS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication, particularly with government senior leaders.
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with stakeholders in a diverse community.
  • Understanding of the unique military health informatics architecture.
  • Operational (deployment), clinical (e.g., RN, LPN, etc.), and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system experience strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English and familiarity with English medical terminology.
