Position Overview:

TRAX invites you to use your deep understanding of military and government contracting to become an integral part of our sales team. Those with a U.S. military background, knowledge about aviation maintenance, a network of contacts in various branches of the military, or a good grasp of military acquisitions and sales, will do well in this position.

As a successful company in the global aviation maintenance industry, TRAX is pursuing additional customers in the military domain. The ideal candidate will have a background in government procurement and acquisition, and experience with sales to the military (of software, professional services, or other products). This is an excellent opportunity to help define and carry out a robust government acquisition strategy at TRAX.

General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited to:

  • Develop a targeted plan for military / government sales.
  • Sales management and lead tracking (CRM).
  • Review contract opportunity SOWs / PWS documents and technical requirements to analyze potential match with TRAX product offerings.
  • Attend government and military acquisitions meetings, conferences, and business capabilities presentation meetings.
  • Pursue sub-contract and teaming opportunities as appropriate.

This position will report to the Managing Director. It coordinates with the Marketing team (for events, campaigns, and development of media / promotional materials).

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • U.S. military background required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Previous military / government procurement experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Federal Government acquisition processes and contract vehicles preferred.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance.
  • Knowledge of sales management tools and/or sales lead tracking processes.
  • Solid organizational skills (budgeting, project plans, follow through).
  • Self-motivated as an individual role contractor

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in business or related discipline with at least 2-3 years’ experience, or at least 5 years equivalent experience is required.
