Job description
The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn CSD is searching for a highly qualified, dynamic instructional leader to serve as the 5-8 Middle School Principal beginning July 1, 2023.
The HMS Middle School serves approximately 200 students in grades 5-8 and is located in Sanborn, IA. HMS is a progressive district that is currently engaged in the utilization of the PLC framework. The district celebrated the opening of a new elementary building in 2020 and MS in 2021. HMS is located in beautiful Northwest Iowa, just 30 minutes south of the Minnesota border. HMS communities are just 30 minutes away from the Iowa Great Lakes/Okoboji area and a little over an hour away from Sioux City and Sioux Falls.
HMS offers a very competitive starting salary and benefit package. Salary and benefits will be discussed based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
