Job description
The primary responsibilities for the Mid-Production Supervisor are to coordinate and direct the daily activities in manufacuring, and resolve quality issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other duties include coordination with other departments to satisfy customer needs for product and resolution of defective product issues.
Job Duties:
1. Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel in card manufacturing along with other departments as needed.

- Manage the daily production schedules in all of card manufacturing.
3. Communicate maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure tiemly repair of machinery.
4. Review and answer issues concerning quality or functionality of product as it is being produced and inspected.
5. Track and review waste from production process to ensure efficient material use. Completion of detailed production reports consisting of a daily shift summary and data entry of completed production.
6. Complete timekeeping review, PTO approvals and employee evaluations.
7. Ensure all health and safety standards and processes are followed.
8. Perform these and other duties as assigned by Production Manager or other appropriate management personnel.
- Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Associate Degree preferred however previous experience may be substituted for education
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment
- A demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others
- An ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time splan and prepare action plans to achieve results
- Supervision experience, including employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, coaching, counselign and corrective action
- Measurement of performance to goals and standards
- Strong background in print industry is a plus.
