Starting rate: $3,446 Monthly
Overall Purpose:
Under direct supervision, to perform Messenger and mail car, driver duties, mainly on routes.
Job Responsibilities:
Makes pick-ups and deliveries of inter-Company and U.S. mail, lighter parcel post packages of designated stations on assigned routes inside and/or outside the building.
As directed, picks up and delivers mail and parcels at, the Central Office, Company Substations, District Offices, Distribution Headquarters and other locations.
Assists clerk in sorting incoming U.S. inter-Company mail, as required.
Delivers registered mail and parcel post to Post. Office, picking up Company mail being held by Post Office.
Makes special deliveries of registered mail, obtaining receipt from addressee.
Performs other work related to the above as required or as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements:
No previous experience required.
Must have a valid PA Driver's License.
