In October 2020, Pool Troopers partnered with Shoreline Equity Partners to support the next phase of growth including the execution of a rapid acquisition strategy.


The M&A Associate will work across all aspects of the add-on acquisition deal process: from initial sourcing and evaluation of opportunities, through deal structuring and execution, and post-investment integration into the Pool Troopers platform.


Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in all aspects of sourcing, evaluation, execution, and integration for add-on acquisition opportunities
  • Provide initial review and screening of prospective acquisition targets for both the Pool Troopers and Shoreline teams as well as track the company's acquisition pipeline
  • Complete financial modeling and other analyses to support potential investment opportunities
  • Manage the Company's business and financial due diligence of acquisitions
  • Prepare materials to present recommendations on potential transactions to the Company's executives and Board of Directors
  • Assist in facilitating the Company's integration of acquisitions across key functions including operations. finance and accounting, and human resources
  • Interact with intermediaries and other deal constituents including buyside advisors, investment banks and brokers, as well as the Company's financing sources

Requirements

  • Down to earth and collaborative approach with good interpersonal skills to complement the existing team and culture

  • Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and wear multiple hats in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail
  • Extensive financial modeling skills and experience in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience: Investment banking, transaction advisory, or public accounting experience preferred.
