Job Title: Mergers & Acquisitions Associate
Job Summary
The position will support Director of Acquisitions to support the Newmark’s leadership on evaluating acquisition and investment opportunities and transaction execution, including but not limited to, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, structuring and integration planning.
Essential Duties
- Create comprehensive operating model and financial valuation for acquisition targets
- Perform financial due diligence on key areas of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet
- Formulate questions and propose basic adjustments based on the identification of key risks and business drivers
- Analyze key operational data, net working capital, debt, and debt-like items
- Assist in preparing investment presentations and memorandums
Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant majors
- 3 to 5 years of M&A financial due diligence experiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
