HIRING:

The Knox County Sapling Center is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to fill the role of Onsite Therapist. The Sapling Center is a youth drop-in for ages 14-25 that strives to create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes change. We take a team-oriented approach to services and employ various services to decrease barriers to services for the young people in the community. Join our team to help foster change and empowerment for the region's youth!

Requirements of a Sapling Therapist

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or other related field
  • Must be eligible for Licensure (CSW, LPCA, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance

Responsibilities of a Sapling Therapist

  • Ensure compliance with agency guidelines
  • Completing face-to-face intake
  • Provide screening and assessment services
  • Identifying treatment needs
  • Provide ongoing individual treatment services to clients
  • Provide group therapy to clients within the facility
  • Formulate treatment recommendations
  • Develop a comprehensive assessment-driven treatment plan
  • Provide addiction and recovery services
  • Provide clinical guidance to support staff
  • Ensure billing and documentation are done in a timely manner (per agency guidelines)
