We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join our team to work between 24-40 hours/week. If you are someone with 5 or more years of experience in our field, and love seeing other therapists find their confidence and place in our field, you would be a great candidate! There is no separate licensure requirement. If this would be a new learning area for you, we would love to help you along the way with your own Clinical Supervisor! Our Clinical Supervisors carry a reduced case load of clients to allow time to meet with their supervisees. The manager is responsible for performance evaluations, discipline, policy enforcement, etc allowing our clinical supervisors to focus more on the clinical development needs of their supervisees. The hours of this position are flexible, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. There is some minimal on call hours, at most 3 hours per week in the evenings. You would be able to respond to these calls remotely, so you would not need to come into the clinic during the on-call hours.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in human services or related fields
- 1 year experience working with people with substance use disorder.
- 3 years working in a healthcare setting
- Experience with Motivational Interviewing
- Eligible to apply for SAC-IT upon hire
- Familiarity with the ASAM criteria
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing care coordination cases efficiently
- Demonstrate understanding of the Disease Model of Addiction and associated relapse risk factors
- Practice is informed by a harm reduction approach to client interactions
- Exercise good judgment, maintain good interpersonal relationships, adapt to change, evaluate critically and think creatively.
- Effective written and verbal skills allowing communication with physicians, co-workers, other clinic/hospital personnel, as well as the public.
- Bachelor degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field
- Experiencing using an Electronic Medical Record – ideally EPIC.
- SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC, CSW
- Working knowledge of Madison community resources
- Familiarity with:
- Community based support groups
- WI Department of Health Services Chapter 75, “Community Substance Abuse Service Standards”
- Electronic Health Records
- Crisis Prevention/Intervention techniques.
