AMR Management Services has a full-time remote opportunity available for a Membership Coordinator.

The Membership Coordinator is responsible for working with the Deputy Director and the Membership and Sponsor Manager to execute the programs and projects outline in the workplan for the assigned client. The Membership Coordinator provides positive and professional support to all internal/external clients. Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the state/local member dues renewal process and works with Membership and Sponsorship Manager on corporate member dues renewals
  • Maintains tracking of CIO transitions and updates to tenure report and CIO/Admin list
  • Schedules and manages new CIO orientation calls for Executive Director
  • Manages and executes requests for all member profile updates
  • Assists the Digital Communications Coordinator with updates to the NACIO event calendar in AMS platform
  • Responsible for responding to all incoming conference substitutions and conference-related questions received through the registration information email address.
  • Provides support for forum (member calls) needs, including forum communication, volunteer management/communications and calls/meetings
  • Responsible for coordinating and hosting virtual member meetings using Zoom. This will include scheduling, configuration and in-session hosting/management
  • Update website as needed to include updating content; updating news/events; removing/hiding outdated pages; updating Executive Committee page
  • Work with Digital Communications Coordinator to manage aspects of online member community –make sure forums/task forces are updated each program year; assist members with questions, serve as back-up community manager, etc.
  • Originates or coordinates association documentation as required
  • Attends conferences, conference calls and meetings as required
  • Drafts newsletter articles, informational flyers, executive committee reports, and other general correspondence as requested
  • Assist Membership and Sponsorship Manager with conference sponsorships – sponsorship registration, deliverables, longevity tracking
  • Provides pre-conference support including awards programs, conference presentations and on-site support as assigned
  • Supports other client function areas as necessary
  • Maintains in good order, all records, and files, and ensures the safe keeping of all company and association records
  • Uses good judgment in dealing with associations and does not allow internal company information to be passed inappropriately
  • Identifies opportunities for additional services offerings or expansion of the work plan
  • Keeps Deputy Director and/or Supervisor fully informed of any known or anticipated problems in a timely and accurate manner
  • Meets regularly with Executive Director and/or Supervisor to ensure proper information flow and adherence to stated goals and objectives. Ensures that non-productive time is kept to a minimum
  • Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions
  • Complies with company and association policy and operate in an ethical and prudent manner
  • Ensures the efficient and smooth coordination of activities among company staff
  • Maintains cooperative working relationships with other staff members
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, clients and suppliers
Requirements:


Are you Qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Three or more years of related experience in a similar business or industry
  • Prior association or association management company experience a plus
    Excellent time management skills – ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong organization and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated superior level of customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at detailed levels as well as how they connect to each other
  • Strong team player
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
  • Works independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
  • Ability to respond to common project related inquiries from staff and clients
  • Proficient knowledge of Office 360/SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills, business math, and analytical skills
  • This position will require availability for some evening and weekend meetings and occasional travel for conferences and board events.
