Member Communications Manager

Alliance Franchise Brands LLC is looking for a Member Communications Manager to join our Team in a hybrid position based in Plymouth, Michigan. This is a dynamic role that manages the company’s multi-channel communications to more than 600 independently owned franchise members across North America. What You Will Be Doing

• Write, edit and proofread original content for an audience of small business owners
• Edit and proof content originating in other departments to ensure accuracy and the timely distribution of information
• Write and deploy general and targeted e-communications, including event promotions
• Manage distribution lists
• Conduct phone interviews with franchise members to write success stories and case studies
• Write, manage and post content to the company’s intranet
• Monitor and report on communications metrics and achievements
• Other duties as assigned

Skills You’ll Need

• Strong writing skills and knowledge of copywriting best practices across media and audiences
• Familiarly with AP Style
• Ability to problem solve in a changing and multi-tasking environment
• Self-motivated researcher
• A creative mindset paired with strong attention to detail
• Superior time management, project management and organizational skills
• Knowledge and understanding of current trends in email marketing and driving open rates
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers, executives and small business owners in our franchise network
• Ability to understand unfamiliar subjects quickly and simplify complex information
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines

Experience & Qualifications

• B.A. degree (Marketing Communications, Journalism or English preferred)
• 5-7+ years in related experience
• Experience with an email distribution platform a plus
• Experience working in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Teams a plus
• Writing samples required
