Omega Ob-Gyn Associates is looking for a medical front office staff member to work as a receptionist and telephone operator at our Arlington office. Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred but not required. You will start at the telephone operator desk but you will be cross trained at the check out desk and check-in as well. Omega has a great culture and comfortable environment, and we have many long-term employees. We'd love you to join our team! Your pay will be strongly based on skills and experience.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a fast paced medical environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills to schedule appointments, attention to detail and possess a good work ethic.
• Proficiency working with computers is a must.
• Athena Health (EHR) experience preferred.
• Preferred at least years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Previous call center experience is preferred.
• Ability to explain patient financial responsibility due to co-pay, deductible, and payments due.
• Reliable, timely transportation to and from work.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5:15pm

Responsibilities:

• Answer the phone in a cheerful and courteous manner.
• Assist patients in getting messages to their doctors and their staff.
• Verify demographics and medical insurance are current in the system.
• Schedule patients in the Electronic Health Record, Athena.
• Inform patients of office policies.
• Report to the Arlington Front Office Manager.

Pay: From $32,000.00 per year
