We're looking for someone to join our team as a Medical Records Lead who:
Essential Functions:
- Participates in Quality Improvement activities and training programs as required and/or appropriate. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information received verbally, electronically or in writing.
- Monitors, distributes, and handles incoming and outgoing faxes
- Reviews and process subpoenas as per policy and or due date
- Correspondence (Records, No Shows, daily inter-office mail)
- Ensuring specialty reports are routed to Smartfiler or scanned and attached to specialty referral/order as per Standard work.
- Scanning documents as directed.
- Must be willing and able to change work shifts to meet patient and department needs.
- Helps develop and maintain process and knowledge aids developed for Medical Records.
- Identify, coordinate, document, and track quality improvement projects (PDSA) that align with CSV priorities.
- Develop and train Medical Records Coordinators.
You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
High school diploma or completion of General Equivalency Degree (GED)- Must be computer proficient and able to appropriately utilize an EHR system
- Able to type a minimum of 25 WPM and 10-Key
- Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista’s employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.
