Job description

Medical payment poster who can post payments in accordance with each Insurance policy and contract.

Troubleshoot why payments do not balance and discuss discrepancies with Billing supervisor. Resolve all payment differences.

Resolve credit balance issues with Payment Auditor and/or /Reimbursement Specialist as needed.

Request negative reports from insurance plans and work them to balance each account.

Completes ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) and reviews paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to ensure accurate posting to patient accounts.

Review and complete required fields for Medicare Secondary Electronic and all other system generated secondary claims as part of posting process.

Required skills and experience,

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to remain focused and engaged while working on routine tasks.

2 year experience in payment posting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
