JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs, calculates, reviews and reports laboratory diagnostic tests. Performs phlebotomy as needed. Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment. Understands the clinical significance of the testing performed. Responsibilities for correction of procedural / instrument issues. Responsible for teaching, training and mentoring.
EDUCATION:
-
Bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry.

Medical Laboratory Scientist certified or certified in the field. If certificate qualified, certification to occur within 1 year of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum experience – MLS internship completed.
Sign on Bonus:
$10,000 - must have at least 1 year experience - paid out over three years. Applies to external candidates only.
Note:
1 weekend per month - rotating holidays.
