The MT or MLT is responsible to perform established clinical tests under the supervision of the Director or Manager; interprets and reports results as accurately as possible to assist providers in diagnosis and treatment; duties include certain specimen collections, clerical tasks, Quality Control, and maintenance procedures.

MT certification with a BS degree, Associates of Science Degree, or a graduate of an approved school for laboratory medicine; successful completion of the internship program in an approved medical laboratory; LIS or computer experience. Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.

OR

MLT/CLA certification with a high school diploma; graduation from an approved school for laboratory medicine; successful completion of the internship program in an approved medical laboratory; LIS or computer experience. Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.

Employment is contingent on passing drug screening, health assessment and background check.
