DME BILLING COORDINATOR FOR NEW ACCOUNT

We are forming a second billing department to accommodate the needs of a new client and we have two immediate positions to fill for this start-up division.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

· Be organized and detail-oriented

· Possess previous medical billing experience, preferably in workers’ comp

· Be familiar with DME

· Enjoy research

· Enjoy data entry

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Be comfortable speaking with employers, patients, physicians, and insurance

· Preferably speak Spanish

· Be able to handle a heavy workload

· Be customer service orientated

· Be a team player

· Be solution centered

DUTIES AND DAILY TASKS

· Enter new billing referrals into our database

· Review referral documentation to prepare for billing

· Conduct research to obtain missing documentation needed for billing

(Including calling patients and employers and submitting requests to physician)

· Electronically submit claims to insurance

· Follow up with carriers to check claim status

· Appeal insurance short payments and denials

· Keep track of data needed for monthly reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
