Sandstone Medical Solutions is seeking a responsible, detail oriented professional to join our growing team. The candidate must have relevant experience and have the ability to handle several tasks at one time.

Responsible for collecting, posting and managing account payments and submitting claims and following up with insurance companies, patients and other third party payers.

We specialize in Medical Accounting & Bookkeeping services.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Prepare and submit claims to various insurance companies electronically and manually.
• Answer questions from clients and insurance companies.
• Identify and resolve client and insurance billing complaints.
• Prepare, review and send client statements.
• Reconcile and post payments.
• Follow up on delayed and denied claims (appeals).
• Analyze accounts receivable aging and claims adjustments.
• Manage collection efforts.

Skills/Experience:

• Two+ years of billing experience is required. Mental health billing is preferred.
• Nevada Medicaid a plus
• Must have excellent computer skills including Excel.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience with Icanotes preferred but not required.
