Medical Assistant/Ophthalmic Assistant

We are seeking a full-time employee that is self motivated, detail-oriented, friendly, flexible, and dependable. Ability to adapt well, manage patient flow, maintain a positive attitude at all times, and excels in a fast paced environment is necessary.

Daily clinic activities include:

• Documentation of chief complaint, visual acuity, muscle balance, pupils and intraocular pressure
• Pre-op/post-op measurements and consents
• Set up and assist in minor office procedures
• Diagnostic testing: OCT, Visual Field, Topography, Fundus Photos and Pachymetry
• Contact lens training (insertion and removal)
• Electronically sending prescriptions and triage patient phone calls
• Other duties as assigned by Doctors or Clinical Manager
• Data entry of EMR

**Experience preferred but not necessary. Willing to train the right candidate**

**Spanish speaker is a huge plus!**
