Job description

- Provides care to patients of all ages and assistance to physicians and advanced practitioners in the Norman Regional Clinics.
- Rooming patients, documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system, vitals signs, assisting with day to day patient care modalities and other duties as assigned.
- Flexibility and adaptability are crucial for this role, as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail and mult-task.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant Training or equivalent experience required.
- Prefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.
- Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure / Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation
Compensation/Benefits
- $12.22-$19.95/hr depending on previous work experience.
