Earn a full-time salary while going through training for this career. Training is for the first 6 weeks of employment and then individuals move into their roles within their hired department. (It will be important to be available for all training and classes in order to ensure success in your new role.) Positions are available in both the Primary care and Specialty departments!

As soon as you begin employment you start your way towards a new career ladder. After 6 months of working, you are eligible to move into a Medical Assistant I role, and after one year of employment, you are eligible to move into a Medical Assistant II role!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant in Training (MA IT) is responsible for basic clinical duties required to ready a patient for the Provider visit in the ambulatory clinic setting. The MA IT works collaboratively with the practice team to assure efficient and effective operations in the practice while maintaining confidentiality of all patients’ records, medical treatment and diagnosis and abiding by policies and procedures of the practice.
EDUCATION:
High School graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a busy team setting with customer service and computer competency preferred.
