On Demand Counseling seeking a full time medical assistant to join our team working in a busy office, Monday through Friday 9-5. Proficient in phlebotomy, injections and basic patient care . Experience in drug testing and physicals preferred, excellent front desk, communication and customer service skills required. SUMMARY:

  • Perform drug screens, hair tests, breathalyzer and fingerprinting
  • Do vitals for physicals
  • Perform respirator fit test, audiogram, spirometry, muscular skeletal, depth perception, urinalysis, vaccines, injections and phlebotomy.
  • On-site services as needed
  • After hours phone rotation
  • Front office duties to include:
    • Greet customers
    • Process paperwork
    • Verify services
    • Answer phones and schedule appointments
    • Prepare daily paperwork
    • Scan and send physical results to company
    • Track physicians physical totals
    • Prepare physical paperwork for the next day
  • Must become certified and proficient in DOT physicals, drug tests, breath alcohol testing, hair collection and fingerprinting
  • Order supplies
  • Clean up and stock for next day
  • Highlight random tests done daily
  • Communicate as needed with staff regarding clients and service performed
  • Must possess secretarial skills which include typing 50 words per minute.
  • Must have good organizational, communication and language skills.
  • Must possess general computer knowledge and general office equipment familiarity.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
  • Demonstrates the ability for effectively function as a team member.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities in facilities and community-based residencies and buildings with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.
  • Operates a computer and keyboard.
