Job description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team for a busy 2 provider GYN office in Towson. Must be an energetic, detail oriented, authentic, people person of integrity, able to multitask, and eager to learn new things to keep our practice running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties (answer phones, help maintain supplies, neatly, accurately, & concisely document patient interactions/needs in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks including: patient intakes, blood pressures, injections, procedure set up & assistance
- Communicate with patients via phone, emr portal & secure email to meet a variety of patient needs
​Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields, MA schooling & GYN experience preferred
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with computer applications; experience with Athena EMR a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
