Medical Assistant
PrideStaff Financial is hiring Medical Assistants, both back office and front office for a large medical practice located in Fresno, California. The Medical Assistants will be in charge of administrative duties to support the medical staff and professionals. Job Duties Include:
- Schedule appointments
- Greet patients and take them back to assigned room
- Obtain blood samples
- Measure and record vital signs
- Take direction from other medical professionals in the office to assure no steps are missed
- Clean exam rooms
- Occasional filing of medical records
- Data entry of patient’s medical history
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a MA in a fast-paced doctor’s office or urgent care
- Associate degree in Medical Field
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional attitude
Pay: 17-19/hr

- Fresno, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
