MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION

Seeking a self-motivated and bright Medical Assistant (MA) for new interventional pain and wellness clinic in southwest Durham. The MA must understand the needs of the practice and support the Mission and Values at all times. Experience and certification in medical assisting a plus, but not required. Candidates interested in a career as a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or radiology technologist would find this a desirable position as it is modeled as a preceptor/mentee role. Excellent opportunity for an individual to learn all aspects of patient care in a healthcare setting and assist with procedures. Experience Requirements: Experience in medical assisting is preferred.

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements : Basic Life Support preferred.

Hours of Work : M-F 8am-6PM (hours vary).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
