Medical Assistant Job Description
The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of client related support functions both clinical and non-clinical such as establishing and maintaining medical charts, obtaining vital signs and specimen collection of ordered tests, completing forms and transcribing Physicians/CNP orders. The Medical Assistant will coordinate arrangements for client activities such as clinic, medical test appointments, etc. Serve as an essential link between the Office unit and various services and staff.
Medical Assistant Requirements
- One year of work experience as a medical assistant with work experience in a health care facility preferred
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required
- Active Medical Assistant certification required
