Salary: $21.43 per hour

Job Description

Nature of Work: Under the supervision of the Medical Assistance Supervisor, performs a variety of complex duties requiring analytical abilities and extensive computer skills. Requires knowledge of MCHP/MA4F policies. Responsible for applying MCHP/MA4F rules and regulations in making eligibility determinations within 10-day time frames, and completing verifications on HBX via in-person and telephone. Expected to work at a fast pace with efficiency, organization and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)

Experience: Two years of clerical experience applying policies in a medical care, health insurance or federal or state entitlement program

License or Certification: none

Notes: Additional general clerical experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. College credits from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience at the rate of 30 credit hours for one year experience. Must have valid Maryland driver’s license and reliable transportation.
