Position Summary: *
85SIXTY is looking for a Media Planner with experience planning and buying all types of digital media with a particular focus on creating data driven campaigns across display, paid social, mobile, and video. While primarily focused on planning digital campaigns, experience with all types of media will be part of this role. This role handles campaign strategy, planning, buying and optimization across a portfolio of clients.
This person will have responsibility for working with clients to define objectives and KPI’s as well as devising methods for accurately measuring performance against those KPI’s. 85SIXTY has a highly collaborative approach and as such, your digital media expertise will be combined with the knowledge of other team members to create an integrated client strategy rooted in performance.

Job Responsibilities: *

  • Aid in the creation of client media objectives and strategies.
  • Perform research to define audiences and media opportunities for campaigns.
  • Create media plans that meet client objectives including the presentation of media strategies and plans to clients.
  • Determine appropriate media partners for clients. Submit and evaluate RFP's to those partners.
  • Negotiate with media partners on behalf of clients and the agency.
  • Create, launch, and maintain online ad campaigns across multiple platforms..
  • Analyze real-time results and optimize buys to improve performance and assure contracted delivery.
  • Work with creative team to ensure optimal ad development and harmony between media and creative.
  • Work with internal teams to create Real-time Optimization strategies that align with campaign goals, delivery, and performance
  • Utilize internally developed cross-channel optimization tools to drive continual performance.
  • Deliver campaign performance projections and analysis with eye towards future implications.
  • Communicate directly with clients on performance, optimization and tasks related to campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with team members in creating full-funnel integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends in digital marketing. Meet with potential media and technology vendors.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience planning and buying media with particular focus on digital media. Comfortable with full funnel media strategy.
  • Experience working with a wide range of media vendors including both platforms and publishers.
  • Experience building placement level media plans and coordinating the delivery of creative and other assets required to launch complex campaigns.
  • Proficient with website analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Ad Server Experience with trafficking ads and pulling reporting (Google - Campaign Manager 360)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute performance driven digital media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the general activation capabilities of all available media tactics including both traditional and digital.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and capable of creating solutions and resolving issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fun environment.

CO Applicants:
Salary range: $65,000 - $72,000
