MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Our client is a respected Indianapolis based firm seeking a candidate who is capable of delivering mechanical engineering conceptual design, developing design, preparing construction documents, and performing construction administration on given projects.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical engineering for assigned projects : such as: research, engineering calculations, load calculations, energy modeling and preparation of studies, design documents and construction documents.
- Coordinate with other engineers and architects to deliver mechanical system design.
- Mechanical equipment and systems selection for assigned projects.
- Perform submittal review, responses to Requests for Information, and participate in construction progress meetings.
- Maintain awareness of construction progress and the preparation of field reports and punch lists.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, manufacturers, and contractors.
- Thirst for knowledge.
- Continue developing expertise in the consulting engineering field.
- Focused on client satisfaction, project quality and performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 5 – 10 years of project engineering in the consulting industry.
- PE, or become eligible to sit for Principles of Practice examination and obtain professional engineering license within two years.
- BIM (Revit) Proficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79,555.00 - $110,500.00 per year
