The Company: Nov 28, 2018: Davis-Standard, LLC announced that it has acquired Thermoforming Systems LLC (“TSL”) of Yakima, Washington. TSL (www.tslusa.biz) designs, manufacturers and markets leading-edge thermoforming equipment to the North American food packaging industry.

Our systems encompass over 11 product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical, and packaging.

The Position: We’re looking for Mechanical & Electrical Techs. The pay range we’re offering is $15 -26 an hour DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, measuring and test instruments and material handling equipment.
• Fabricate and weld parts as required to support production requirements.
• Consistently demonstrates a high level of efficiently, productivity, work ethic, positive attitude and professionalism.
• Always self-starting, self-sufficient and motivated
• Strives for continuous improvement. Seeks to reduce the cost of our products.
• Takes instructions and direction on work related work assignments from supervision and/or lead men.
• Must demonstrate flexibility to work in all assembly departments, on all types of extrusion equipment and perform in a productive and efficient manner.
• Must be willing to train other employees in all aspects of extrusion equipment assembly.
• Demonstrates the ability to work in a team-based environment. Works well with peers and with minimal supervision.
• Takes ownership of products being assembled, including quality, schedule completion and cost.
• Continually maintains a high level of housekeeping and safety
• Works overtime as required to meet Company productions and shipment objectives.
• Maintains a good attendance record

Preferred experience but not required (willing to train the right candidate)

Knowledge that’s helpful:

• Basic wiring of electrical component’s
• Read electrical schematics
• Wire electrical panels
• Mount and wire junction boxes
• Use Hand tools
