Job description
Focus Workforce Management is now interviewing candidates for Mechanical Design Engineer at Transglobal Door, a leading manufacturer for the OEM truck trailer, truck body and aftermarket transportation industry, manufacturing the highest quality roll-up doors and parts in the transportation industry.
This position will be responsible for ensuring successful development and implementation of new products.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Design new products per customer specifications
- Generate quality documents, BOM’s and work instructions
- Create 2D drawings as needed for production orders
- Design fixtures, templates and tooling to aid and improve production processes
- Engineering document control
- Other duties as required to support sales, engineering and production departments
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- 2 yr. technical degree (minimum) in mechanical design/drafting
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 2D and 3D
- Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCad 2D drawing
- Experience in use of basic measuring tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
